That sucks that they sit tall, can you lower them any with the adjustabilaty? Did you buy yours new? how much were they? Do they soak up the bumps and the big jumps well? Thanks

Those are very good shocks...I ran them for several years in the early 90's! We can rebuild them and convert them to SSD if you decide to go that rout.

i bought mine used from quadcustoms...i have the compression cranked all the way up....i think they're not quite right for me, cuz i gotta crank up the preload to make em absorb big hits...so then they sit really tall...but other than that i love em, i think id like em even more if they were rebuilt to ssd and my weight...i weigh like 215 with gear, but i dunno what they were built for.

thanks for the info guys. Mine are valved for 180lb and +1 +1 a arms and are getting soft. I weigh about 160, so hopefully they work out good, if not i will send them away and get a nice revalve/rebuild if i need too. At the price I'm paying, I can't complain too much, they just need a little pressure washing and sanding.

Is that just an old company? or an old model? They look alright though, and anything rebuildable is always good :D

They still make those shocks, they were top of the line in the late 80's to mid 90's!

I just had Mark Baldwin rebuild my rear White Power shock.

$270.00 for a total shock service with a new spring and bumper set up for my weight and riding style.

Picking it up tomorrow and racing the BUCCS race with it
Saturday. I'll let you know how it performs.
