Question about cut fenders

I just cut the fenders of my spare plastic for my 250ex, and the bar that holds the fenders still isnt hooked to anything. The first one is, but the second isnt, should i just cut the bar off?

i just cut my fenders today seein my quad was just sittin there broken. i left the front fender mounts but cut the back ones off and cut the bar off too.

what did u use to cut the bar off. Just a really big pair of wire cutters? And how much is it to buy new bars, after I cut these, i still have my other plastic that i can put on that isnt cut.
