new trx engine

i have a trx 250x frame i want to put a bigger engine in it cuz the old one is toast. i was think 400ex will that work? is there anything else?

I've seen people use cr500 engines on their 250r's. I would think they vibrate a lot.

I would say a 250R engine would be best...............
