supertrapp ids any good?

i am just wondering but are supertrapp ids exausts any good for a 300ex? because they they are pretty cheep

no...a supercrappp sucks, it will break on you & give you no power gains. & they sound like crap

i dont know about for the 300 but i have one on my 400. i think it sounds good and it did add power but i wouldnt buy one because they do fall apart. mine wont fit tight and it just seems to have poor constuction so now im looking for a new exhaust system.

I think you guys both need to do your research. Supertrapp is like the "benchmark" of 4-stroke exhaust systems. White brothers and many others use supertrapp disks on their exhausts. Many engine builders only use supertrapp systems on their engines. Why is that? You figure it out. Supertrapp created the tunable disk exhaust system.

thats about the only good thin they did...their pipe sucks, congrats. on the tuneable disk system.

What experience do you have with them? Are you sure your not thinking DG, or Cobra?

2 of my friends have them on their utilitys now for about 2 years & they are running fine, i dont see how dg & cobra got such a bad rap. ids2 are crap, my friend has one of those & it sounds like crap & doesn't give you any power gains

im speaking from personal experience when i say this....

i've had a cobra jet on my 300ex....JUNK , that's all that there is to be said, very cheaply made. they are like an empty tin can

know i got an ids2 and they are built so much better, they aren't the loudest thing in the world , but the power gains are significant.

Alot of racers do use that pipe but also alot of flat track races use dg and cobra so i dont know what the deal is. I wouldnt buy one though. i got my DMC alien for sale if ya want a good pipe. or buy ya a tc supertrap. they're bad@ss pipes
