Does a Cannondale rear shock fit a 400?

Does anyone know if you can swap the rear shock from a cannondale to a 400?

It would be rather impossible, considering the C-dale is a no link, and the EX is a linkage set up. And the C-dale does not have its air box in that are to get in the way. So my answer is NO.

The shock would fit except for the lower shackle. Cannondale uses an eyelet on the bottom whereas the 400EX uses that horseshoe-shaped lower mount. I called Baldwin and asked him a while ago when I had my Cannondale if it were possible to change the lower shackle cause I could've gotten a sweet deal on 400EX shocks and he told me no.

Thanks guys, but I guess I will have to tell Alaska that shock won't work. He really gave me a sweet deal on it too.
