Putting lid on after jetting for no lid

I am gonna jet my 400 on monday when the kit arrives for stage 2 and am gonna run it with no lid. If I ever put the lid back on, I am assuming it would run rich, correct? I ask just in case we ever go ride in some mud or some water and put the lid back on. Obviously it might not run as hard as it could but running rich doesn't hurt the motor as opposed to leaning out.

ur right...but all u need to do is buy an outerwear and jus put some holes in that sucker and put the lid over it and ur good to go

yea my goal is just to order the ehs lid and never have to worry again but mothers day set me back, nest week ill try to get my hands on it.

ehs lid...u got a pic or a site for that...and what is it like what does it look like? or is it just the stock lid
