ok, here is a q. what is that blue (i think it is light blue) wire that goes to the left headlight(if ya are sitting on it) is that the ground. i found that totally frayed, and i moved it away, and now when i put it on high beam, it no longer blows fuses:D . I was going to take it to my dealer, then it stopped blowing fuses, and now started up again. (weird)how do you repair that wire? there is not enough wire to wrap them together, does it need to ge on? Could this be the reason it blew fuses????????

cut the wire so that you can install two female connections on each end, then find a wire of the same diameter and put two male connectors on that then just plug them together. You can buy a kit at just about any autostore or Wal-mart.If you want it to be more secure than do the same thing but soder(sp)the ends together.

Does any one know how much that bundle of wires is. it has the rubber boot that goes on the back of the head light, and then connects to a green plug, it is only i foot long, any estimates???
