This winter my quad was running horrible, I was running stock jetting, stock filter , stock pipe etc...
So I scraped up a little cash and bought a uni filter, Still using my stock jetting it ran terrible. It bogged terribly in higher gears.
I was about to buy a pipe and rejet. When I was at the dealer and saw they had a jet kit onsale, So i brought it home and put it in. (165 main w/o air box lid.)
I finally got to ride it today and all I can say is wow!
It works 110% better, It has so much more snap then it used to. I can't believe how much it helped my bike for the minimal amount of money i sepnt doing it.
It rips!
I can't wait to get on the track.

yeah for a stock motor I'd say a slip on,UNI and a jet kit is the best combo. Thats what I had when I was in the ice drags this year and I got 2nd against of about 25 other quads in my quad class-darren

I've ridden a bunch of piped 400s. I was just surprised how much more power i got for the amount of money i spent.
