hello guys i bought a new brake rotor for mz which is bigger then my old one is there a way i can adjust the brake pads so the fit the bigger rotor
and when i mean bigger i mean with

I', going to assume when you say with, you mean width. You might have to shave the pads a little, or if you have hydraulic brakes, press the puck in, or mechanical discs, you have to adjust the pucks out further. Good luck.

its hydrolic i have a z400 not a blaster lol i havnt had time to change the name
how do i adjust the pads out

Take the caliper off, and disconnect the hydraulic lines, then take a c clamp, and press the puck into the caliper, then reassemble everythign and the pads shoudl fit over the disc.

well i called alba today and said i have to use braking pads with there rotor this is bull i am sending it back

It doesnt matter, they just want you to use braking pads. If the pins fit the other, they'll work.

you dont have to take the brake lines off just to push the piston back in. The clamp does help though and it should go in.

you dont have to dissconnect the line??:confused: so ive squirted it in my eye all those times for nothing.:eek: :blah

Diconnecting the line isn't totally necessary, but I always to to replace the copper crush washers, and redo the fluid every time.
