-help-melting Plastic

i just bought new silver plastic for my 300ex, and my aftermarket pipe is starting to melt a hole throgh my plastic, does anyone have any ideas on what i could do about that,:eek: :grr

get some of that heatshield tape from home depto, autozone, dennis kirk, rocky mountain....yawn
