First off, dont think im a spoiled ***** and my daddy doesnt want me to buy me a bike.

I plan on selling my quad and probaly buying a new quad now, but before I wanted to buy a CR125.

It is kind of understandable that he would think this though, because my brother, back in his day, drove pretty crazy and he drove across this dirt road and ran into a car and broke his leg. Also, my cousin his a pipe in the field and had a cuncussion (sp?).

How do you think I would be able to convince my dad that I wouldnt kill myself?

jus tell em u will wear all of the appropriot safety gear...helmet, boots, goggles, gloves, chest protector, jeans or riding pants, and jersy or long sleve shirt...i think it would be pretty easy to convince him then ;)

from my experiences, bike wrecks happen alot more often, but often results in no injury, because you fall off, (or get thrown off) and the bike falls over. But on a quad, if you wreck, you just seem to have a little better chance of getting hurt. Just my experience.

Well if he doesn't want you to get a bike, just stick with your quad.

I guess he only took into consideration the 4 vs. 2 wheel part. On a big ride I generally always wear cheast protector, helmet, pants, etc. but that don't mean much to him. I guess I will have to stick with a quad until I move out of the house:ermm:

If youre gonna be racing, make sure you let him know its a LOT cheaper to race a bike.

A bike can be alot safer than a quad and cheaper especially if you crash.
