I have +3 a-arms on my 400ex I do have 4+1 wheels and the a-arms are off a 250r. But i thought even with the wheels and +3 you suppose to be at around 49 or so. I like it the way it is but right now but i was hoping to get it a little wider. Might have to sell my shamrocks and get some 3+2 billet wheels. What do you think?

There's nothin wrong w/ running 3+2's, I know a lot of pros run that off set.

I have them sagin some. Not alot because i have the stock rear shock. I have them set on the 10th notch down from the top. It does get a little wider when it goes down but almost 3 inches semms impossible. I bought the a-arms used so they not be +3 but i think they are. Also ya i have had 2+3 before my these new wheels but my shamrock beadlocks look to sweet lol. Thanks

Why is everyone so obsessed with having their quad at 50 inches wide, especially the 400EXs? It isn't good to have your quad being almost as wide as it is long, unless you like going sideways through the rough stuff! Have you ever seen a Jeep or a short-wheelbase truck going through chatter bumps as opposed to a Suburban? They get six different kinds of sideways! That's what happens when your wheel stance gets too close to the length of your wheelbase. Your rear axle will always be trying to pass you!

I don'tknow why you 400 is so narrow. I have 2 plus and off set rims and I'm right on the limit.

I just thought that +3 a-arms would of been alot wider. I see when i jump it it extends way out. Those Shocks are awsome on jumps. And it handles better than ever. Thanks for the help

hey carl i think ur a-arms are only +2 cuz my houser lt on my cannondale are +3 and they are alot wider than yours even though i have 3+2 wheels i measuerd mine the other day and it was 53 inches which is too wide. i need 4+1 wheels.

Hey kenny are you sure your wheels arnt 2+3 or even 1+4? That's just weird that you are that wide up front. I have +3 laegers longs up front with 3+2's and I'm at 50. I know when I ordered my dune trackers from Rocky Mountain I didnt realize until over a year later that the offset was 2+4 so I sold the whole setup. So head's up to everyone outthere who would assume like I did that they would set you up correctly, make sure you tell them what you want.

Mine might be +2... It doesnt matter tho a guy gave me an extremely good deal and i could probly sell my front end now and hsve almost enough for a LT front end.

Me and you shoulda switched tires when you were out here. see how it looks. Shamrocks are like 180 ea from james lucky. not sure where else to buy them but everyone should have them.

Even if it is 2+ offset im not sure what it is but either way he still needs to get some 4+1 so it will handle better.

Kenny if you read this before i talk to you im going to try to come out there today(monday) to get that axle. L8er

im pretty sure they are 3+2 they are the stock itp wheels and 21 inch holeshot tires that come on the cannibal. maybe its the width of the tires since they are 7 inches wide most motocross front tires are only 6 inches im not really sure. im going to be getting some 4+1 wheels soon and either grooved radials or razr mx for the front anyway
