Clear coat frame?

i was wondering how it would look if i sandblasted, then sandpapered, then polished my frame then put a few coats of clear-coat on it. any1 ever done this? let me know what ya think. l8r - mike

Are you talking about a C-dale frame because that is the only stock quad frame you can polish I am pretty sure.

i was thinking about doing that..polishing my whole frame..then getting it powder coated clear. :devil

i ruffed mine up a little, after i stripped it,
i got tired after doing one rail.
i'd hate getting at the welds.

If you just sand blasted it real good and got it Powder Coated it would look AWSOME :devil

u can only polish aluminium frames. if u have a 250r u cant polish that. You can sandblast it sand it and clear coat it. But you can get a powdercoat the same look as that the sandblast.

you can polish the frames..you can polish steel...ive done it before and clear coated it....its harder than aluminum....but polishing a steel frame is possible..i would love to see osmeone put that much effort into it though

better get some steel plates machiend to ur arms cuz there gonna be dead in 15 minutes of doing it, and also once the clear coat rubs off ur ****ed it's going to rust and get ****ty again bad idea

i'll think about sanding it. i might just get it powdercoated. any good colors to get it powdercoated?

Tran's red is very cool and good looing!, also white pc with silver vein is very trick!! looks like chrome in whtie powdercoat
