View Full Version : Clutch Spring Torque specs ASAP please!!!!!!!!

I'm putting my clutch back together and i can't remember the torque spec, and i don't really feel like just winging it and it possibley coming loose. do any of you know or have a book???

The book says, "Tighten the bolts in a crisscross pattern in several steps."(pg. 9-10) it does not give a specific on the clutch springs.
The only value it gives ...

Clutch center lock nut 80lbf-ft

Just tighten them until they are tight. The spring pressure will keep them from loosening up.

dont go too far...i did and broke a bolt....ended up costing me a new center and all new bolts and a hassle

Torque Spec = Tight but not too tight...

just go till the bolts hit bottom and go half a turn after. when you do it you will know what I mean

LISTEN to them... If not you will be pissed cause if you overtigten them you will break the inner hun easily....

cause that will cost you time and money... Been there it sucks

What he said. Just tightened them hand tight.
