:(
first off, have we gone over this good, are we SURE the 400's box won't fit the 300ex?,,,no possible way?
...are the frame rails farther apart on the 400? where does it "not fit"..is the intake hole in the wrong spot? it is too long?

i was ganna see if a buddy could fab' me up one, but i need
somemore info.

(i don't have mspaint any more or i'd draw it)

1_in the back where your battery mounts. how much further IN does the bottom of the box come, PAST the battery. (coming from rear to front. can you see any over hang, or does the battery take up all of the "ledge"
2_the "Rim" of the box, even with the frame rails.
...how much higher is it than the top of the battery?

> |___| < =battery
> | < =tall
> ____ < =long

3 inches tall
4 inches long
3 inches wide. (ruff estimate)

would the mesurments of the battery, plus a half inch of overhang on the part the battery sits on,
and a half inch above the battery for the wire's and stuff. be enugh to clear the brake rotor?

take a few mesurements for me.
mesure,...
1, the FLAT bottom of the box.
2, how far up it goes, at the back, "on the bottom)
3, the flat part the battery sits on
4, how high the very back is. "at the seat latch)
5 the heigth at the front wall.."at the air boot)

also messure,
..how far it is from the air boot, to the seat latch (overall length)
.....how wide the frame rails are.

man i'd reallt appreciate it...i got a 400 i can take messurements of, but i can't any of a REAL 'lumi air box.

got pics, post em, if you got a digi cam, show me what supports the battery, and how everything is mounted inside.

Arnt u worried about weight becuase plastic weigh's lighter then ALumium..

Looks pretty cool theo..
Just one pound of these machines makes that much of a difference.

you can buy them for the 400, but they don't make em' for the 300.

it's aluminum, it doesn't weigh that much.
i like it b/c i can house my battery in there.
