ive seen them in concert with korn it rocked, and ive got tickets to see them this summer

one, master of pupets, battery, the most of the black disc

i will say that enter sandman, sad but true are over played, still good though

Anything off the first four albums is great with "Kill 'em all" my fav. I think the black album just sucked. I remember buying it and throwing it out in a matter of a half hour. It didn't deserve to even be traded in as used. Mainstream cowpie ballad fluff:eek:

All of their songs are awsome! My favorite is Whiskey in the Jar ... nothing better than sitting in a local bar, shoot'in pool around 1am and have Whiskey in the Jar playin loud on the Juke Box.... ahhhhhh... :devil

Not much of Metallica fan. Their old stuff kicked major ***** but their new stuff sucks bad!

I thought that MTV ICON thing was kind of a joke with the bands other than metallica. Sum 41 and avril levign (how ever its spelt)weren't to bad. Korn started out fine then once they got into it they just ruined the song. Limpbizkit just doesn't belong there.Oh yeah staind was OK, they over do the achoustic thing. Metallica is not "unplugged material" They are stilll my favorite band, One and fade to black are my favorite songs.

one, master of puppets, blackend, fade to black, hero of the day, no leaf clover, whiskey in the jar, whiplash, tuesdays gone, orion, sad but true, fuel, the unforgiven, the unforgiven II, nothing else matters, king nothing, until it sleeps, prince charming, fight fire with fire, sanitarium, i dissapear.... just to name the songs off the top of my head, i know im missing at least 20 more of their songs. their all my favorites, whenever i hear anything from metallica i pretty much go nuts :devil :macho

Awesome thread man! Anything by Metallica is great, but I would have to say that my favorites are: Stone Cold Crazy (effing fast tune!), Sanitarium, Fade to Black, and Don't Tread on Me.

All the old Metallica is effing awesome....Kill'em All is pretty hardcore too!:devious:

I would have to agree with everyone. I love every song up until load. Load is OK but Reload sucked. My fave is Fade to BLack then all of the ...and Justice for All album

I'm gonna have to say my favorites are: For Whom The Bell Tolls, Master of Puppets, One, and Fuel... If you guys haven't seen Metallica in concert, you're missing out!! They absolutely rule live!!!

The Metallica version is good too but when I seen Korn do it, I really got into it!! See Korn a couple of times and everytime I see them, they always put a good show on.

I went to the last Summer Santarium with Korn, Metallica.... and I simply loved Metallica before the concert and I wasn't such a fan of Korn until that concert. Korn simply stole the show though, they were great. Don't get me wrong, Metallica put on a good show but Korn stole the cake.

One, Nothing Else Matters, For Whom the Bell Tolls, and The Unforgiven are probaly my favorite. I remember jamming to them with my older brother pissing my mom off:devil Haha good times!

korn played master of puppets at the louisville summer sanitarium tour b/c james got hurt again, i heard it sounded awesome, wish i was there!

how did i forget breadfan and stone cold crazy?

i think all of its good, i just dont like all the people that say they sold out, like the guy that said the black album sucked, how many "sucky albums" sell 1,000,000 copies a year 11 and 12 years after there released? metallica did not sell out, they got to a point where they could say f it, lets try omething new, people will buy it any way. load is a great album, if those songs had been written and played bt some unknown band, everyone would have loved it.

I havent really heard any of the old Metallica. I like all the songs on the Load and Reload albums though. My favorite songs are probably Fuel and King Nothing.
