My 300 EX needs new cams. rocker arms, chains, and piston. At this point I may as well go for more power but I am on a budget. What is a good set up for this motor and where do I get it. Or would it be cheeper/beter to I look for a 350x motor and just swap it? Being new to quads, I really need your advice! Thanks alot, Adam

I personaly think the 350X is one of the best 4 stroke engines out there. For a 350 there amazenly fast and bullet proof they seem. The only prob i see with them is the starting issues its a art its self to start them alone lol. But its all up to you

It'll cost you about the same whether you rebuild your 300 or buy a 350x to swap into. But you could run into a worn out 350x motor that might need a piston or a cam. They didn't have cam bearings to the cams wore out faster. But yes the 350x is a very good motor and very fast.
