well it depends what kind of riding you do, if you do MX I would say get some bottom end, if you do trails well its kinda half and half. If it was me I would get the 14 tooth, because I like bottom end power, in the trails your not gunna be going top speed, bu then again my 300ex wasnt too fast. Hmm well its a toss up, personal preference. What size of tires do you have ?

if i were u i wouldn't go above teh 14t brandon... a 15t would be way to hgih of gearing for u... 14 mayb to high of a gearing yet alone a 15t...

go out to ur quad and count the number of links in the chain and order that same length mayb 2 links longer if u get the 14t over the 13t... u can always cut the chain down but u can't order a longer one...

if someone wiht a 250x would reply... i'm not sure on the length of the 250x chain or i'd tell u exactly what it is...

i bought a 15 tooth for my 300ex, with a 520x ring atv chain, 86 links. It rubbed on the case, so i had to go to a 14 tooth, and i have to check the tension every few hours, to make sure it didnt loosen up, and hit my case. With the 14 tooth, i can feel a top end difference with the 38 tooth sproket, but i also have a 36 and a 34. With the 14-34 and 18" tires, it really moves. For trails i run a 14-36 with 20 inch tires. hope this helps.
