grinding header welds

I know there's been a few posts on this before, but i still thought i'd ask... How do you do it? how much do you grind out? is there any danger in doing it? Thanks.

i think some people who did it said it was worth it and some dont. take ur header of and get a dremel with a grinding bit. just grind the welds out. ull see them right where the header meets the cylinder. i think u need to buy new bronze washers when u put it back on but no biggie

I could tell a difference on my stock motor. Definately worth the time. I re-used by gaskets.

Those are some pretty fat welds, I noticed a difference when I did mine.
