I was wondering what everybody else is using for a mx setup on there exhaust? I have a paul turner 89 race pipe on my R now. It puts out strong power but it has a harsh hit to it. I want a smooth powered pipe. I am trying a ct mx pipe right now but i was wondering if the esr pipe has more bottom end. I could care less about dragging so high rev is not important to me. Any oppinions?

the esr trx5 exhuast is a low-mid pipe (the trx6 is all around)

... but i herd fmf exhuast is the best "no hard hitting" exhuast out there...

Sparks MX...I run the TT, but it has an arm ripping hit...it's amazing, I just need a smaller carb though.

What type (if any) of porting do you have on the motor?

The porting must match the pipe. Otherwise you are fighting a lossing battle.

I run the PT race pipe and love the way it pulls with my motor. I have a "Race" port from a local shop and it works really well with the pipe. Better than the old FMF I had before.

Also, the PT Race pipe is a mid range type pipe. If you want more low end (less of a hit) then they sell a different pipe for that application.
