sorry guys...got a jetting question

i have never really done any jetting before and i know how to do it but i don't really know what sizes to get. i just installed a hotcams stage 2 and a white brothers r-4 slip on and i'm running a uni filter with no airbox lid. any suggestion what what size jets i should buy when i go to the shop?

I would try a 160

get a 150,155 and a 160 and also get a 42 pilot. Start with the 160 and see how it does.

so a 160 main and a 41 pilot? what about the needle? move up a clip or whatever? any other suggestions?

try moving the clip up one notch.

I would try a 158 main, 42 pilot, and move the clip DOWN one notch, effectively raising the needle and richening the midrange. You should like the power increase, it's a big difference from stock. :)

I think ATVMXRIDER meant to say move the clip down one notch (needle up a notch) to richen it up a little. JMO

well i got a 158 main today. he didn't have any pilot jets tho. i went riding and my quad ran way better but when i pulled the plug it was still really lean. i don't remember if he moved the clip down but he did turn the air fuel screw a half turn. do you think if i go to a 160, get the pilot, and move the clip down (if its not already done) i will be good or do you think i should go higher than a 160?

just change one thing at a time, since you seem to have the jetting close. The rule of thumb seems to be, get it running good then move the main down one. But you might have it perfect on the main already.
