hey everyone im taking my head off to bring to a machine shop to drill out that exhaust bolt i broke off. and theres alot of build up around my valve heads and piston and all that, what should i use to clean it or should i do something else ne answeres would be appreciated thanks. ride on

you can use carb cleaner to clean the head

don't touch the piston if you try to clean it you will break the carbon loose and will fall down around the rings and then next time you fire it up it will score the cylinder walls which if bad enough will cause oil to get past the rings and loss of compression you better off not even cleaning the piston the carbon's not hurting anything i'm not saying that this will happen, it's just a risk that you take

Carb cleaner or brake cleaner wok pretty good.:)

hey can i use like WD-40 or a degreeser or would it be better to get ported and pollised?? thanx

uh, i don't think wd-40 has the power to port nor polish, i mean it's good stuff and all but................I don't think it's that strong:huh
