Neutral problem

Well, I have this odd problem.

I can't get my quad into neutral. Just can't! It can only be done when the quad is still moving, or when the engine has been shut. Standing still with engine running, it's IMPOSSIBLE to get it into neutral.

What could be wrong?

Bike has a new clutch + cable

clutch needs to be adjusted, i do believe if it's still grabin it makes it very dificult to get it to go into nuetral and it just hops to second

You need to adjust the clutch and while you are at it change the oil becuase you have been slipping the clutch when it is disengaged
