I finally got it!! the trinity full system for the Predator...

I was at an Mx race here yesterday and a guy was racin a stock pred except for a polaris slip on pipe and a kill switch and he did REALLY well. I was really surprised.
He was in pro class Btw.

Took him half the night to get them on right:rolleyes: nothing was matching up correctly(I notice this will most ANY aftermarket thing you buy ) but over all, it looks really nice, I am ordering a custom seat cover tomorrow too. Graphics will be made next week and I got a set of spacers too. Im gonna post a few colors and see which ones you think looks better......... I forgot to metion.. one good thing about the head pipe on this is, its not too over siazed,actually a bit smaller so it should push better...

Thanks everyone, :) not enough time over the wk end to put it on, so gonna spend a little time this week getting it done,..Im in the need of some gaskets and of course, NO ONE has any in stock:rolleyes: SO..... gonna try a dif one off a bike that is very dimilar in size , so hope it crushes right .. This is gonna be kind different this tiem, we have met or been able to talk to anyone who has done a Dyno and a K&N straight to the Carb and no one with the pipe yet.OH I bet it screams when its done, I just hope its not gonna be a nighmare to do...:(

I have helped NDpredator work on his a bit and the jetting seems to be pretty touchy. I believe he tried the straight K&N and then ended up putting the airbox back on, I am not wure why he did this. The bike seems to go lean pretty easy the jump in jet sizes needed to make it run right seem to be bigger than jetting the EX. Like I said I have only helped him out so you may ask him he has been in that carb allot.

Quadjunkies: As far as doing a direct mount K&N to the carb, it seems to lose power. The predator responds alot better when you mod the airbox itself. (don't ask me y) The most power you'll get for your money is buying The AIRFORCE KIT from Gary at The Superbike Shop. His kit costs right at $100.00 It includes everything you'll need and also comes with jets specific to what you'll need for your elevation. It also has you do a couple of other things to your carb which maxes the potential for this quad. You can get to him at www.esuperbikeshop.com He is there to answer any questions that you might have, and I promise you that you won't be at all disappointed.

Derrick Thanks for the info:), but this guys doesnt seem to return his customers phone calls and according to Trinity, this set up should set it up around 52HP(Ill believe it when I see it though) I think having this headpipe not being too oversized will help ...I have heard the AIRFOURCE KIT has been a great addition to the quad, but his service could use some improvement..Dont get me wrong, I just feel more comfortable sticking to a Company I know a little bit about and Ive never heard anything about this Superbike guy until recently...Did you get the AIRFORCE KIT??? LOL. its def alot cheaper than the pipes are...:eek: Hopefully have the trinity on by the wk end as soon as a few replacement gaskets and my 13 tooth comes(Fri Im hoping) Any of you predator owners having a hard time getting a sprocket on hand? I bought one from the" sprocket specialist" they claim this sprocket fits the Predator but is dont:confused: So, thinking maybe it was a mis fit, they sent another, still no luck. They have sold hundreds of them they said with no problems but its no where near the right size. Seems itsx on back order:grr Im hoping another one I ordered will be in any day now I ordered it like 2 weeks ago(its off a honda bike)Any leads would be great.... again, thanks for the info Tina

Well I hope that your setup is gonna work out good for you, so let me know how it goes. Just be careful when you're jetting that carb because it is the most sensitive carb i've ever been in. One minute it's lean and the next it's fat. You've just gotta do alot of playing with it. Goodluck and let me know if you have any questions about anything. I'll do my best to help you out.
