Do scoops make a big difference, what are the advantages?

I was thinking about getting a set but was wondering the advantages to them, obviously more air is going at the oil cooler so I assume for one the bike runs cooler but does it add any performance gains?

a cooler running engine will porduce more horsepower than a hotter one...but not more hp than stock

They are well worth the money. They make the bike run cooler, not to mention they look cool.

i think they are the biggest waste of money ever...they dont really help you all that well but they do look pretty cool and make a good spot to put stickers ;)

I look at them like this: they look cool, they are worth it just for that reason,, If they do make you run cooler great thats a good benifit.
