how about some spec on the vette? how does the turbo run compaired to a supercharger? is the vette a small block or big block? where did you get the turbo kit form? ive been thinking of going with a turbo set-up on my 70 Elcamino.

the tubo is a 101mm
umm it makes around 1800-2000 hp
umm....its got a a small block 400
turbo 400 tranny with a glide
the turbo will blow away a super charger, its not like a stoke size turbo that comes on like a lexus
umm, the turbo is a precision

the car should run 7.30's in the 1/4 @ about 200, so were happy!:D
i mean the cars sat for 2 yrs w/out a motor so we got a feeling that said go turbo!

Is it a TH-400 or Powerglide transmission cause they're two different transmission's entirely.

well its a power glide, but its totally rebuilt like a 400

it makes about 1900 at the rear wheels, it may seem unreal, but thats the power of a good after market turbo, its not like your every day tubo in a nissan skyline.

and the car cost as far as i kno its around 150 grand, but its not the cost that matters, its the fun u have doing it, i mean its just like having a quad, a never ending project! lol!

dude, its hard to explain, its got a 400 tranny, with a auto shift, we call it a glide but i might not be using the right terminalagy, my dads friend builds all of his trannys and this is what he tells me, :p im prolly wrong but i dunno?
