what do you think?......im getting an fmf megamax muffler for it..does anyone with a 250ex have one? what do they think?...cuz its the same motor and everything

i want to get rid of the racks on mine but the are really handy when you wanna carry something. i put on a set of razrs last weekend.

I put a Megamax 2 on my Rancher about 2 weeks ago. I took the first real ride on it since then the night before last. Acording to my GPS I lost 6.3 mph, but the low end and mid range power it added was well worth it. I haven't messed around trying different # of plates yet so I still might be able to tweek a little more power out of it. I know that it's not the same as a 250ex or a Recon, but I would say that you should expect about the same results.
Also you might try posting tis in Powertrain instead of where it is at, Or try posting on ATVnation.com someone on there has surely put one on a Recon.
