When I got home from glamis I noticed I had lost a brake pad. Darn it. The caliper and roter are pretty screwed up too. Any ideas on fixing it?

buy a new set of pads and a new rotor...some new caliper bolts and even tho the caliper is scratched up it should still work fine....hard to believe you didnt hear the metal to metal contact and stop riding so it wouldnt hurt anything this bad lol

You would think I could have heard it but that Duncan pipe is pretty loud. Does beer affect your hearing? It must because when I drink I can't hear my wife:eek2:

dayummmm:(

is the caliper trashed or just the rotor and pad? if you reuse that caliper disassemble it and check the seals.....if they got hot they could lead to NO BRAKES:ermm: i have a set of 400 calipers but i have to fix one. if you are in need let me know and ill try to get it ready...cuz they are a bit pricey new:(

the R calipers have better stopping capacity because they are a twin piston design. ive ridin both and didnt notice it.....but i aint the fastest fly around. id say rebuild your R calipers and youll be set. if you use the 400 calipers i believe you also need a $200 caliper bracket:eek:

Thanks pappy
I'll tear it down this weekend. We will see. I only lost one pad so at least the other side of the caliper is fine.
