I'll be in the 4-Stroke C 16-24 class. I just hope that both me and my 400 have a good race. If so, I'll be at the D6 race on Sunday.

I'll be there with the GasGas looking for first finish since round 1. Hopefully the overheat issue is behind me. If all goes go I might show up at the D-11 race on sunday at Hocking Valley. Should roll into the track around around 3:00pm Friday. See everyone there.

I swapped engines. The 400 is now in my national bike. The 400, with the XR400 cam, has more torque. The HRC cam in the 440 does not have enough bottom end so I had to re-gear it. Now I can hardly overtake a stock 400 in the fields with the 440. That's why I switched engines

05-05-2003, 03:29 PM
Lou I will bark next to you and Basle. Do you all think Houser Racing will be there I have to show him something. Or if Houser reads this E-mail me I need to talk to you.

hey monkeyhead, u better wait till Johnny shows up so he can watch your back.. its been a rough winter and the sasquatch is hungry for monkey. BTW how much do u weight, just wondering, squatch was gonna bring some friends!!!!!!!!!

there is one safe haven for campers, squatch has a soft spot for shiny cans, like them shiny gold cans that Yeungling Premium beer comes in. Don't be fooled though, he only drinks Yuengling if he has u cornered DO NOT OFFER your coors light, it seems the water used to make coors does not have the same inviting minerals that u find in the water locally. Yeungling is made here in Pottsville Pa. thats why he prefers it.
C-ya all on friday night, unless the wifes tightens her grip, then i'll see ya in the morning on sat.

Last I heard extreme had the skirt. So when did Nathan end up with it?

Holeshot

Yes, I had Joey (ohlins rep.) remove the internal spacers on the front shocks and revalve them at round 1. He also adjsuted the comp and rebound front and rear on the machine.

John, from Mx Tech, is currently doing the race support at the GNCC's this year since the Ohlins guys are to busy to make it to the races. My advice is to go to Joey (if the Ohlins van is at the track), if not John can do the work. I don't know what they charge to revalve the shocks.

John is going to replace the shaft and convert my rear shock to a dual rated one this weekend.

If you buddy needs help dailing or adjusting the shocks have him stop by MX Tech friday night (I should be there talking to John) I can help with the setting other than revalving or respringing them. If they need revalve John will have to do that.

Which version does your buddy have? The big body fronts or the Long travel std size fronts?

1.5 days of work left, aahhhhhh. i can't wait its almost here, a national so close to home.... This should be the best track of the year, wait till ya'll see this thing, i think it'll become a legendary track. i hear they have a 3 year deal with Racerproductions. this facility will make a great midseason vacation in the future 3 day weekend, ride test and tune at one of Rausch's 5 tracks on thursday or friday, then go 1 mile down the road to the GNCC event on sat. then clean up prep the bikes and go to the D6 harescramble on your way home . the D6 harescramble is about an hour south of Rausch and its sunday morning the race starts around 11:00am its a one hour race.

2 DAYS AWAY C-YA ALL THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

We'll be there got my quad back up and running after the timing chain slipped and bent all 4 valves. I still blame it on a faulty hot cam but how do you prove that. Getting back to a national will be great missed the month of April. Be there Friday somewhere around 1.

hahahahaha everyone is busy driving there wheels off to get to the race. I'll work all day go home and relax and cruise up in the morning, man it almost 45 minutes away, i hope i don't get lost or have to stop and sleep.hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!

Actually its a good thing this race is close and i wasn't going today. Last night around midnight i made a terrible discovery, my frt. Ohlins had a problem. They had only 2 hours on them since rebuilding. We took them apart today and i think it was just a stuck valve, no oil leaked out so i hope thats all it is. We'll find out later today i guess. Al Carr from Reactive Suspension is hooking me up. He was nice enough to drop everything and tear into them first thing this morning so i could still race tommorow...

C-ya there!!!!!!!!!!!
