I run Emgro, they are less than $2. That sounds better than $7 for a K&N.

i wouldnt worry with 7 bucks for an oil filter. i just get stock ones
I've been using honda filters in my 400EX.. Napa carries them in a pinch, but they are only about $1 cheaper (here anyway).. The honda filters seem to have slightly better construction.

I use fram oil filters. they come with a new o-ring. some of the cheaper oil filters don't supply the o-ring for the cap.

Where do you get your Fram filters from? The only place I know that have filters close to home are dealers. Or do you have to order them?

I haven't seen anyone supply the oring. It is another $2-3 for the oring from Honda. Let us know where you get a Fram oil filter for the 400 and what it costs. Fram makes a dam good automotive filter. :D
The napa filter also comes with a new o-ring...
I believe it's p/n 4944 but I'm not 100% on that..
