since the weather turned cold here about a week ago my 400ex has fouled two plugs,,never had a problem with it doin this until it turned cold,,i am using the stock plug and was wondering if i should use a different plug??i have a k&n jet kit,a slip on yoshimura,k&n air filter,rev box,,,so should i go with a different plug or what does anyone suggest??

if u foul plugs ur bike is runnin fat most likely

take the rev box off for easier cold weather starting...

-or- mount your stock box next to it, and plug it in to start the bike and switch over to the rev box after it's warmed up...

cold weather would make you leaner so you wouldnt be fouling them from the temp.but you may be running your choke to long ex's will foul the plug fast if your running the choke to long during start up and warm up use ut as least as possible.Cold weather will not cause you to run fat(rich)

whats your problem? You should be willing to take all advice, besides, you're the one who cant keep his bike fixed. :blah

your motor is weak and wore out and needs rings and valve guides and seals or you could just carry you about 5 plugs when you go riding and when all your buddy's are dusting you you could always blame it on the plug or that your fat(and Im not sure about which fat you might be.

when i said fat, i was referring to rich.
