the track was in a lot better condition this weekend...
by the second moto i dont think anyone was doing it though, it got pretty rough, since it is sand there...

yeah when I was at Gopher, the track just got brutal! That sand sure does get rutty very fast. When I was there some guy on a suzuki like flipped 4 times in those whoops because they were so rough. It snapped his steering stem and bars clean off. I thing it might have been like an LT230. I thought it was a LT250R but the pipe and front end looks really weird.

ya 2nd moto was treble... really rutted up, one guy on a predator hit a bump and wheelied and went onto the grab bar, and right behind him was a raptor and slammed right into the kid, the same guy that ran me off the track before a table top, he came in to fast and over shot the berm and nailed me... SOB i was pissed, but the kid who got hit was down hard, it looked like it hurt...
i also almost went over the bars twice, one time hanging on with one hand.. but i did alright i guess...
20th in the first moto and 19th in the 2nd after i got nailed... there were 29 racers there...

i had fun in the practice:rolleyes: Both motos i had dnf's.. The first I has behind Jeff coming into the second corner charging it hard to try and keep up with jeff(duncan roll) Richard reath Got hung up on a ber just infront of us and Jeff and richard got hung up and i nailed Jeff relly hard. My bumber is totaly scrwewed. I hit so hard I blew a rad hose and couldn't finish the race. (ALthough i was behind Jeff at that one time he is a much faster rider. But my 426 pulls his 265 paul turner in the straights. Anyway then the second moto came. And about halfway through the 1st lap My lower left ball joint king pin fell out and I just barley held the thing from going over. Got it off the track to find out I made a pretzel outa my bran new Wave roter. I put some small scrapes in my Hiper rim too. I was so mad. TO mad to even yell out in rage!. The shocks (elka elites) still work like garbage. Im sending them into elka this week, if they can't get them working write im either sending them to derissi or buying custom axis. I may even keep the elka's for a bit to try and tune them out while riding the custom axis. I should make more then enough money this summer to do that. I also may sell my back up Ex to buy that new Yammy. all I need is to sell alot of crack......:p

probably 3rd taped out on a moded ex... but 4th should do it... i hit it in low 3rd and clear over half of it so that is my guess... never realy jumped it yet, dobut i will, those jumps are wierd i find, half double half table top....

Gopher Dunes is kinda cheesy. I walked the track( 1st race) and the Jumps have like no lips on them at all. The jumps seem to be more forgiving compared to the tracks I ride at. I dont dont why, but it just seems that way. At RJ's if you screw up your gone! Anyone going to RJ's this weekend? Its extremely dusty around here, but James will have the Water truck going at full tilt. I also heard we are supposed to get some rain on Sunday. Doesnt sound to promising. I will probably be there, doubt I will be racing. I just found out CMRC, doesnt hold one day race passes anymore. I had my mom convinced but then dammit, I talked to James and told me the bad news. Do you guys wanna do some TT up in Parry sound this year? I am thinking about doing it.

those jumps do got some lip, but not all of them... they get chewed up fast though, ...

ya it is supose to rain, we just got hit with some heavy down fall of rain, and they call for more...

Its not the best track for jumps and after the frist moto it gets really bad for jumps.

That East Coast Rider is Justin Petker.............I was there last weekend. The races were good, but the track was really really rutted up!

No I never meant it was like a ****ty track. The jumps are nice, but there is no lip on it. Maybe during the first moto, but after that its flat. True, I have never rode it, but when dirtbikers complain there is no lip. I dont think I would be doing all the jumps, but it sure would make it harder to do it, when theres not much of a lip.

gopher dunes got voted best track of the year i believe a couple months/years back,, Frank takes care of the track a lot.... I mean A LOT, Not like james(RJ, good track never ridden it yet) who only opens his track on wednesdays, so he won't have to groom it as often.... RJ is an awsome track i just wish it was open more...

and that east coast atv is not Justin(i believe), he has the red 330r that is always giving banks a run for his money... they are really good, fast as hell...

Thomas when is that beast KTM 450 done, i want to see it roar....???

Hey there, my bike is almost done, the pipe and front motor mounts need to be finished. eca400 said that he would post some pics here but I haven't seen any yet. I will be in Paisley if I have a bike and the weather is ok ( hate that clay when it gets wet). Gopher is way better than rj, rj gets these square holes that bite you in the *****. Yeah Richard is eca rider, Justin has red plastic. Bank is getting a new rear shock, his is 1.5 inches too short, ohh we're just starting to find out why he got it so cheep!!!!

na.. RJ is the best track on the circuit. I'd almost think Gopher is the worst. But its all in what you like right. I'd be kickin eastcoast by now. hahaha. paisly is the next race. Gopher gets to ruted up. and all the jumps arnt doable after a few motos. I get so damn tired there. Bank should try a 330r. Hes to hung on 4 strokes. If i had his talent i'd probly be on a 250r.

I have had a lot of bad luck this year blowin engine at gophers, blowin chain at rj.s , motoplex well I guess nothin happen there but they restarted the race when I was in frist but got bad start next race and finshed 3, Red Bud rad leak that torr half of my piston off Crappy kimpex piston, Man at re Bud they check your width cuttor pins, motor size, kill switch, nerfs. There was 600-650 quads there Before My first race Farr came up to me and said nice bike and was interested in sponsor ship for next year. Man He is fast and so is doug gusst and jones. Jones turns corners with the back brake and slides around the corners. its intense. there is a 85 foot step down triple, me and a couple of other riders in my class were the olny ones doin it Awsome track it def beats any track Ive ever been on Gophers:eek: :eek:
