I just got my T 4 slip on from pro circuit and am dying to put it on. Unfortunately my knn filter or jet kit haven't arrived if I were to install it and maybe turn it on and go up and down my block a couple times, no serious riding, could there be any problems? I know it won't run as hard as it could.

if you just put it on to merly hear and take a ride than you should be fine, i just wouldnt go reving it out and beatin the crap outa it until you proprly jet it. because of the pipe you will be running lean and it can cause engine damage after a while.

it souldn't be a problem if you keep from romping on it. Be sure you put the airbox lid back on (if you are currently running with it off).

i just got a pro-circuit T-4 as well, and i already had a K&N. what jets are you using? i'm still working on it, i think all i need to do is adjust the jet needle. if i remember correctly, i've got a 155 main and a 40 pilot. oh yeah, i'm around 5000ft elevation too. are your jet sizes anywhere close to this?
