i have betold that a new sprocket will help alot and now i dont know how many teeth should on the sprocket and i plan on racing soon. so thank for your info:)

Many people like a 14 tooth front sprocket for racing. A 13 tooth is very low compared to stock. I think you would be more happy with the 14 tooth sprocket. I think that in almost all situations, a 13 tooth is just too low, unless you are running large rear tires, or you really don't plan on going very fast at all.

15 is stock...it's more than likely on the quad now...

i just changed from the stock 15 tooth to a 14 tooth and i love the amount of power and excelleration in 1st 2nd 3rd gear but in a drag im looking for another gear. i guess it depends on which type of racing your doing and the mods that you have done.

its all on what you think is better sprockets arnt that much money buy a 14 and see if you like it if you dont then no worry put on the 15 again. sprockets are around $15 - $20.
