400 steering stem on 300?

Does the 400ex stock steering stem fit a 300EX?
Is it like +2 off a stock 300 or what???

its bugging me.

I can buy a new one from service honda for 130 for mine,
but 50 for a 400ex..... thats a big diff..... any help
