make 400ex equal to yzf 426?

well if i cant get a yzf 426 maybe i can talk my dad into letting me bore out the 400, i was think a hi compresion 440 kit with all the works, hot cams stage 2, head work. which kit should i go with? or should i stick to the 426?

well my quad.......426 11:1, OS vlaves, fullrace port, hotcam stage 2, TC exhaust, 39MMFCR, KN airfilter, no airbox....is not even close to a 426(yz), im wondering if i go with a new more aggresive cam, a bigger carb, 440 13:1 stroker kit, and a full hinson 8 plate if i will be able to atleast keep up with all the faster quads...i dont know man, but the YZ is gonna be alot cheaper than trying to make your 400ex faster
