Tired or 400s power....

well i just sold my blaster 4 weeks ago and ive had my 99 ex for a lil over a month, it has bandits on 190s all round, renthal bars, full skids, mega max 2 pipe and some other crap........the prob is last night i rode a raptor and now i ride the ex and it is soooooooooooo fugn slow even at WOT the raptor beat my by 100 feet in 3rd gear...... what kits will make the power the raptor will on top end or will i have to run any thing higher than 93 octane

i think he's fulling you with sh*t, or iam not understanding something, a raptor isnt going to go 60-65 in 3rd gear, my banshee hardly did 50 in 3rd gear....

Nausty your bike is a stock 400ccs right? And you beat raptors? Are you talkin on the track or in a drag?

hey thx guys for thr quick respone let me clear this up i was in a hurry to post this cuz i had to go work but......
basicly in the woods and track i can smoke the guy on the raptor and the woods and track is pure skill, not so much the bike. But draging and rideing top speed in sand pits does not take as much practice, dont get me wrong not any one can do it but i just need more power on tap because in the sand pits and feild its wide open and i dont get that rush i used to get when i forst got it. I know i can up the gearing in the front but than im screwed for the woods. I just need to figure out what kit i want to but like the 416-426-440 ect,,, but i would still like to run 93 octane max.

I'd say 416 if you just did mx and xc but since you drag in sand pits i'd have to say 440.

If you really wanna blow away those raptors get a sparks or tc racing 465 or tc 505 sept their not gonna be to easy on the pocket book.

lol....go buy a bigger quad if all u want to do is go fast in a straight line. But if u do everything like woods mx and drags then there will never be a right quad for you.

like nausty saidif you want'a blow dem raptors away then you will need a motor like a 465 or 505 but with that you have to run pretty much race gas

Why are you guys dogging the Hondas? Raptors aes just a little faster in stock form . Guys on 400s bear raptors all the time. Maybe you are whats slow.

Maybe try reverse engineering, how much you have to spend? Once you know that the rest is easy.
