Hey guys I'm just wondering if its possible to make it so I could start in any gear instead of it having to be in neutral?
Also, will it cause any damage to the trans. or engine over time, and would you all reccomend it? Its just anoying having to throw it in neutral if it ever cuts off in gear.

Thanks

Pull in the clutch! It should start in any gear as long as the clutch is engaged

actualy what I meant what being able to start in any gear without having to pull in the clutch. Because I've heard that the 300ex won't start in any gear even with the clutch pulled it. I also heard you gotta cut these two green wires in the clutch perch and bind the together? Will doing this modification hurt the start motor, or trans. at all?

thanks

I dont think its going to hurt it, because I did it to my 300ex, and my 400ex, and hasnt hurt it one bit.

why would u want to do that tho just pull the clutch in you dont have to waste your time by cuttin wires adn stuff like that just use the clutch and by the way a 300ex will start in any gear as long as teh clutch is pulled in i believe on all manaul clutch quads and bikes they start in any gear
