COBRA Exhaust ?

Exactley why are these Exhaust's so Bad, I want a new Exhaust for my bike, and noticed that Cobra's are failrely well priced pipes, do the make a difference as compared to stock ??...Everyone tells me to get either a T4 or HMF, but where is a good site to look these up and get a price on them, for the T4 only price I've seen is 239.00 and that American so in Canadian dollars that easily tops over 400.00 considering the exchange rate and taxes.
I haven't found anything on the HMF at all...if you have any suggestions on what pipes are good please include the price that you played so I know what they cost...I'm looking for a full exhaust system just the muffler.

THey fall apart,,,,poorly made,,,and they are very LOUD,,power increase I don't think theres any and if there is it aint worth a 1 HP gain,,believe me leave it alone dude,,waste of money and it sucks you have to pay so much for a different kind..:(

Just get a megaphone system , I've heard one and if you maintain them they aren't extremely loud.
And they're $150 for the whole system Canadian.

They dont make horsepower gains and they fall apart. Those are the 2 main things when looking into buying a new exhaust and the cobra does not put out gains or stay together...............

I had a Cobra exhaust on my old Warrior and it was junk. It was EXTREMELY loud and made no power.

Well, I have a friend who used to own a TRX200SX. He bought the basic Cobra system. On this quad, it added a very large gain in power. The down side...

It was incredibly loud

My MegaMax is starting to fall apart. Im planning on selling the quad soon, and I am very close to winning a used Cobra from EBay. I am going to ride for a bit before I sell.

My main concern is that, if the Cobra was as loud as it was on that 200SX, am I even going to be able to ride it on a 300EX like mine? Im afraid to get a stock pipe, I might blow the baffles out. :blah

How much is the HMF 300 ex slip on does anyone know?

Don`t buy a Cobra. If you want a lot of power and it to be loud, get a TC pipe.

Seeing how i am a graduate of the 3rd grade i did check the site before i posted my question. Well golly gee the price isn`t there for a 300ex that is why i asked.

It`s $169. All of the Slip-Ons are $169 or $189.

hmm i looked on the page for 300ex. No price for slip-ons. So i asked. I didn`t need a response like (Click on the link above and look for yourself.). That was totally uncalled for! I asked a damn simple question. Maybe i am blind maybe i am dumb but there is no price for 300EX slip-ons on the 300ex page.

your pic of the page cuts off the price, change your screen resolution to 800x600 then go to the web site !...you can even see patialley the price of the dyno kit thing...its almost cut off too

If you go back and read my only beef was that the price wasn`t on the 300ex page. I followed a link there so i didn`t see the main page. I asked a simply question that only required a simple answer....screw this kiddie **** i am done wit it.
