how easy would it be to put a 250r engine back in a 250r that has a 350x engine in it now? how much money would it take and what is the process? is it worth the money?

Got Huevos?

The price will vary depending what you have. If you have an engine it will be easy and cheap. Also do you need new motor mounts ?

Common sense is exactly what I am using Got Huevos! Try reading it again it says there is a 350x engine in it now. so im sure there is a difference between the motor mounts. that was my question Huevos.
OK now for everyone else that replied, thank you for the help. Im not sure if i need new motor mounts or not. is the motor mounts for a 350x the same for a 250r?? I dont know. also do i buy these motor mounts if i have to or do i make them? thanks everybody!

nateftbl, I was thinking the same thing about Huevos.

For the 350x to fit properly into the 250r frame, the bottom frame rails need to be widened so the motor will sit lower in the frame. I am not sure if they change anything with the swingarm, but I don't think they do. Take a look at the bottom frame rails and see if they have been modified in any way, that will tell you if you need new motor mounts. You could always take the 350x engine out and bolt up the front and top motor mounts of the 250r engine and see what motor mounts you will need for the bottom mounts.

sell your frame and motor on ebay or on here and then buy a 250r frame and motor it would be th easiest thing to do
