yzf or crf????

I am looking in to putting a yzf or crf engine into my 400ex this winter it will probably come down to the yzf cause the crf are hare to come by. But can some one tell me that has done a project like this how much it costs them to do, I have looked at some people's pics of their projects done and they explained prettey well what need done. so if some one could just tell me how much and a parts list. THANX.

i tried a search and came up with nothing, if some one has some liks to some good threads post them!!!

Couldnt find anything on the new yzf450. Anyone done it yet? What are the strong / weak points of this powerplant compared to the CRF450? I heard it's only a 4-speed?

I guess the same questions on the 426, are people bumping this one up to a 450 with head work or leaving it as is?

The YZ450 is yamahas new one !! it is a 4 speed motor and i would say not to go with that one but instead get the WR450 i believe it to be a 5 speed with electric start?! The YZ has a lot of SNAP when you hit the gas !! The CR is a great motor also dont get me wrong but in my PERSONAL OPINION doesnt provide the same rush and thrill the YZ can accomplish !!
