That hill is not that small. You would be surprised how many people come back down. It's not loose at all it's all hardpack. Directions to the hill (http://www.digitaliway.com/hillclimb/eventinfo/directions.htm) I've made it, but I know people who are much better riders than I and they didn't. It just depends. I think half of it is just luck out of the gate. Oh... and quads do the climb too. Look at the stats page on beaverdalehillclimb.com (http://www.beaverdalehillclimb.com)

Here are some pics I took of the climb that day. The first is "The Hill"
http://users.adelphia.net/~cinnamonlou/pics/thehill.jpg

Here is a stock wheelbased 440EX in the "pit" ready to give it a go. BTW, he has been riding since he was 3yrs old. He is now 16. He is a good rider.
http://users.adelphia.net/~cinnamonlou/pics/shawn1.jpg

Gettin there!!!
http://users.adelphia.net/~cinnamonlou/pics/shawn2.jpg

Well, maybe NOT!!!! Time to go back down and try again.
http://users.adelphia.net/~cinnamonlou/pics/shawn3.jpg

Much safer down here.
http://users.adelphia.net/~cinnamonlou/pics/shawn4.jpg

Here is a guy from MD (if I rember correctly) on a BIG BORE 502. He has a 1 1/2" extended swingarm. He made it 1 out of 2 times.
http://users.adelphia.net/~cinnamonlou/pics/502.jpg

here is his buddy, stock swinger, didn't make it at all.
http://users.adelphia.net/~cinnamonlou/pics/5022.jpg

This little dude's dad held the National title for a while on bikes. Here is his attempts to make Dad proud!!!! :macho
http://users.adelphia.net/~cinnamonlou/pics/littleguy1.jpg

Kinda got his ***** kicked for this trick.........Dad was everything but proud. As you can tell by the pic, it didn't end up on it's wheels. :p
http://users.adelphia.net/~cinnamonlou/pics/littleguyflip.jpg

Nitro-Methane bikes RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
http://users.adelphia.net/~cinnamonlou/pics/bike1.jpg

Here he is hittin the breaker on his way to a 4.7sec run.
http://users.adelphia.net/~cinnamonlou/pics/bike2.jpg

Here is where he is landing.......that is @ about 120-125' ...In other words, he jumped 20-30' past the edge of the breaker!!!! :macho for sure

Well, that should hold ya for a while, I will resize and uplaod some more to my server and post some later in the week. Enjoy, and those of you that live close enough, you should really come out and give it a try. I think the next climb is June1. Check their site to be sure.

Yes, there are always guys on the hill to help ya get turned around, or they use a hook (and rope) to pull you over the top.

Damn i just watched huevos 3 and was watchin those quads go up that hillblimb. I saw a very easy route which i think almost any quad can make it up. On the left side of the mountain/climb it seems to be alot flater and not as step. I saw that banshee that did a whellie at the top and didnot make it up in the video and all i can say is holy ***** because that quad got really messed up. If i donot make it dudes throw ropes on me so i can go back down right? Maybe soon as i get my 440 kit and my other mods ill definatly fly up it with ease.

Dustin178
05-10-2003, 03:16 PM
hey u just seen huevos 3 its good but when u c huevos 4 u wont wanna watch 3 any more cuz its so much better i cant wait to watch 5 :D but anyways on huevos 4 they have a real bad *** hill climb one guy was on a banshee made it to the top but it jumped a lil and there must have been a lip b4 the top or somethin and he hit some dirt while in the air with the back tires and it completly just flipped him all around u should check it out its awsome

Kilabanshee
05-10-2003, 03:21 PM
was that in huevos 3 because that what i was talkin about. This banshee got really ****** up about 3,000 in damadge.

05-10-2003, 03:26 PM
if its the one im thinkin bout its the one that almost gets to the top then it comes all the way back down and everyone is tryin to stop it but they cant i think thats the one yer talkin bout the one im talkin bout is on huevos 4 it goes over the top but as it is the front end is in the air and i think the power band kicks in hard or somethin and it starts to jump but it catches some more dirt and he completly flips it and it goes up over the top of the hill

Its a stock swingarm but even if i canot make it up iam sure iam not goin to roll down cause ill probobly bail to the side or somethin. They should make the pit alot longer so u can ge some speed.

Mad balls??? You either got em or you don't. That's like saying "I'll take you out in the street and kick your arse as soon as I see you beat up that pencil neck over there." :huh

If you're not willing to risk it all, no sense turning the key.

Hey iam willin got rick it but damn i hope they catch me with those ropes if i donot. I saw the aftermath of that banshee that didnot make it up in huevos 3 and i was like damnnnnnnnnnnnn. Soon as i get some more of the mods that i got on my list ill be sure to give it a try. Iam very good at hillclimbs and will try almost anything just as long as its not life threating :blah .

That Suzuki belongs to Butch Biesecker, he owns b&b enterprises in Bear, DE. He does all the work on my r. I've not ridden with him yet, but I hear its a hell of an experience.
