Well i didnt make much.Only $15 myself.I had to give my friend $40 for the assembley.+ 5 shipping So i guess its only about $7.50 Hr took around 2hrs to do it.
Yes i did put the can there just for the reflection.Im thinking about getting his side covers to do.But i would have to make a little more than $15 for all that work.Any body interested in some motor mounts?

Hey when you guys do the lower throttle assebly what do you have to revove. I figure you seperate the cap from the assembly. How do you remove the throttle cable, etc....

Str8 Wicked, to take out the cable just take off the cover, once you open it up its pretty easy to see how it comes off. Theres a little clip and a spring.

Polishing is pretty easy to do, you just have to be patient and have the right tools. I have just done motor mounts, case saver( with clear coat). This winter I am going to do my side cases, and get my head powder coated black, then polish the edges of the fins.

First you polish it really good. Then clean up everything with soap and hot water,or acetone.Use a toothpick and rag to get the tight spots like in the letters.

Yeah I've polished my motor mounts, starter and few other lil pieces so it's no problem on the polishing part. I was gonna do my cases polished also but decided while they were off to send them to get chromed with my subframe...

I do love the look of the throttle thou so I'm sure it'll be coming off pretty soon....

What materials do you use to polish it? I tried to polish my axle with Chrome Polish and Rust Remover by Turtle Wax this weekend but nothin really happened.
