i was looking through the powroll website and i noticed that they make vented valve caps. does any one have one of these on. does it make a difference and where did you run the hose on it.

I dont think the 250ex even has valve caps :confused:

They claim minor improvement at high rpm but the vent hose will contaminate with oil vapor residue followed by dirt. The 250EX will greet you with the rev limiter around the same time a vented valve cap could do much. The crankcase is currently vented via your airbox with a filter insert setup below your air filter. This is a negative pressure area and will draw crank case blow-by out rather efficiently.

I'm not sure about the 250ex but I know that the rest of the sport models are already vented through a tube that comes of the rocker cover. I think the vented valve caps are mostly for little 70's that are not vented from the factory.
