I want to rid my 400ex of its big bulky clutch perch run/off switch, starter button light switch beast with an aftermarket clutch perch and lever. What a/m clutch perch is the best and how do you re-wire that OEM beast?

I broke my first aftermarket one, which was a magnum. Piece of junk.

Just got my new one from C&D, the MSP Raptor. Very nice, very well built.

You will also need a parking brake block off if your going to replace your stock perch.

There is 2 wires that need to be spliced together when you take off the stock perch. You'll know what I am talking about if you look at it. its easy.

I just went to the dealer and order a cr250 perch and cluth. I think with both the total was like 10-12 bucks only. The only thing they are black. I believe there is an old honda motorcycle thou that came with chrome clutch and perch. I believe the dealer sells it the same price as the CR thou... The bike with the chrome is a honda dirtbike from the mid - late 70's I believe...

I got the MSR Raptor, I love it so far. Remember to get a parking brake block off.
