The subject says it all... need something reliable... 4 stroke... easy to handle for a first-time female rider. I got a 400ex and my girl needs something to follow me around with. Will pick up from anywhere in CA / NV / AZ / OR / etc... within a day or two's drive from CA. Needs to be decent looking... you know how girls are :)

Thanks!
Josh

I have a honda 250x that I am selling because it is too slow for me and I bought an LT250R it is a little more than you are wanting to pay but it is well worth it. It is a 91 250x with new back plastic, new chain, new grips, new gripper seat cover, and new rear tires. It also has renthal bars and shock covers. I can send a pic if you are interested. I live in Oklahoma. I am asking $1800. Thanks.

OK is more than a day or two's drive from CA :) Thanks tho... it just wouldn't be worth spending 1/3 of the price of a quad on shipping.

Hey jeepdude
You can ship through forward air for around 300 bucks.
Just letting you know so incase you find something you want thats out of reasonable driving distance.

Actually, forward air charges $472.50 if you need the crate... which is required... 50 bux less if you have your own crate. Still not worth it since I want to spend $1500... and I doubt I'll find anything that's not a P.O.S. for $1000. :)

Thanks tho.

Is it just that no one on the left coast ever sells anything? I've found many quads that seem like they'd fit the bill... but they're all on the east side of the country... c'mon people, my girlie needs a quad here! :P I know there's someone out there near pismo or oregon dunes or something that has a quad they need to get rid of cheap! :) [bump]

I know what you mean about no good deals in CA very often. Its worth it to get it back east and have it shiped IMO. It still beats the prices hear.

I'm picking up a 250x this weekend, supposed to have new topend and timing chain. It does not fire (I think coil) I would take $1100 for it if I don't have to touch it. If you are interested, let me know and I'll get pictures asap. Thanks

If I lived closer and could take a look at that thing before buying it, I might consider it. $1100 doesn't sound too bad, but I don't want to ship it out here and find out I have to spend $500 gettin the thing running right. Thanks tho...

Anyone else got a great deal on a girl quad but a little closer to California? :)

Yup, still need an inexpensive quad for the girlfriend... but you prolly want too much for your '01 blaster... unless you want to let it go for 1500 bucks or have something else you're selling. :)
