Hey guys,
I'll probly be purchasing some 400ex plastics soon, but it seems companys like fullbore and Maier are really exspencive and I don't want to spend over 200 bux on a full set. I checked service honda and their OEM plastic prices were VERY cheap and only about 65 each. I'll probly order from them but, are there any other companies or places that make or sell plastics for a price near that?

Also, I'll need a seat and front headlights, where would the best place to get those things---Service honda?

Any help would be great, thanks.

The plastic itself is cheap through service honda, but shipping is about a trillion dollars. Thats how they burn you

Yeah, that's service honda's trick. They post low prices then charge 20 for shipping. So your end total is about the same as going to your dealer.

Really?
How much would the shipping cost.
Do you know of any other places who would have better prices?

Could I order those parts through my local dealer, would that be cheaper?

It wouldnt hurt to try your dealer I guess...Where in Va are you located?

Also try the site sponsor C&D, and the Quadshop also

Do both of the companys you listed have a website and sell online?

I'm in Roanoke, Va. Kinda in the S/W part of VA.

try lesteratv.com, he is a Maier dealer. he has quite a few sets of the factory blems in stock. the defects are very minor.

Thanks for the site,
I checked it out and the prices for used plastics was amazing. Although it was noted they had scratches. He's only got one pair of used plastics and for the defected ones he only has a couple rear fenders, I need front, rear, sidepanels, etc.

I got my plastics through a local dealer here in town - that's the best way to do it....they can absorb the shipping costs. Your headlight assembly might cost you a little money, though - unless you can buy used ones.

Might as well check on the price of a stock seat, too......for some reason Honda OEM prices are good!

Thanks, I'll do that. I'll check on the full set fenders, seat and headlights at my local dealer sometime soon. Hopefully the whole deal will be under $300.

give Lesteratv a call. I know he orders fenders from maier once a week. let him know what color you are looking for. he will work with you.
