I have the opportunity to score a set of PEP ZPS fronts, but they are 16" long and came off of +2 A-Arms. My a-arms are stock for XC, do you think they will cause any adverse handling, bottoming?
I would like to get shocks for the Washougal race on the 17th.

I know 16" shocks will work for +1" a-arms, but I always talk myself out of them, I don't want to rap them around a tree.

Please, any help appreciated.:p

I say get em. Then buy some +1 and you'll be set. They wont bottom out on stock arms, but they will be stiffer than normal. But i say if its a decent price, Get em!!!

I bought a set the other day I got PEP ZPS Shocks, TMM +3 a-arms, 250r spindles and tierods for 950 dollars. I havent rode on the shocks yet waiting on the a-arms to get back from the PC. But they look sweet and i got a good deal on them. I hate missing good deals but this time i found a better deal. L8er

I have to agree. I got some seat time in on my new PEP's this week and it was worth the wait. It's like riding a different machine. It's real wide and low now. I can't imagine going back to stock. I am really glad I went with suspension and chassis mods before the motor. :D
