hey guys just wondering what your opinions are of the Kenda trakker paddle tyres as Im thinkin of getting some ???

they worked OK for my shee, I would have gotten others though. If you have a stock rear rims you have the choice of gecko's ot the trakkers I think, get geckos or get cheap steel 8inch rims a better set.-darren

There are better paddles out there. I have Trakkers and Sand Skate II's. The Skates are lighter.

Trouble is that Im in Australia and theres not that many paddles to choose from - Kenda Trakker $130 ea
- Gecko $135 ea
- Sand Shark $ 175 ea
Which ones would work best on 400 ex????

sadly I think the sand sharks are your best bet. They have smaller paddles and a 400 just does not have the power to pull tall paddles.

I would say get the Geckos for $5 more. I run the sand sharks and Colby has ran the Geckos he likes them on the 400ex. Man they really have a pretty price on them. but I am sure after you pay freight from the USA it would cost the same..

I agree with Silverfox, although I have not personally used the Geckos, I would be willing to bet they are better than the Trakkers. Personally, I am just not all that impressed with the Trakkers.

Just for social studies sake, what do you guys get paid per hour of labor in Austrailia? I can't believe they soak you like that for tires! I hope you at least get a rim with it! Good luck! :)

Hey Phil approx $24 hour but I imagine the guy who imports these tires is making a ****load more than that considering they are only $35 us and the Aussie dollar is about $.60 you do the math!!!!!!

i have ran both trakkers and sand sharks. i like both of them and since it has been about a year since i ran the trakkers i cant really compare them. i would buy eaither though.

but i have no complaints. they were cheap enough that since i usually make it to the dunes only a couple of timea year i dont feel so bad........

Any how on my 310 they worked ok i guess for the times i do go this year,,,,,,,,,but i think i need taller paddles,,,,,,or to run my 14T sprocket next trip out and see then:D :p
