I've got the Raptor shock for the 300ex, but need specifics on adjustment. I'm keeping the Raptor spring, and know the large screw at the bottom is rebound, but what is the little screw on the ressy? Is that compression, or something completely different?

What are the inital screw settings (both screws) for the shock with the Raptor spring mounted on the 300ex to get a baseline with?

Thanks,

all you should really have to mess with is the rebound, i havent touched my compresion screw the entire time i have had the shock

So is that what that other screw definitely is? Compression?

So how do you know what your settings are? How do you know the previous owner of the shock didn't screw it all the way in before they shipped it to you? Or all the way out, for that matter?

you just have to ride it and try to dial it in to feel as good as you can. and yes, the adjuster on the rez is compression
